We would like to start by pointing out that a number of car loan Web sites will
ask you for all your personal information, but will not reveal any information about
themselves -- even something as simple as an address and phone number. (Ours
is on the bottom on the page).
We'd also like to point out that we were founded by a third-generation car-
selling family in 1989, that we grew and flourished as a private company, and that
we are now part of the Dominion Enterprises family of companies.
We are in good standing with the Better Business Bureau and we protect your private information with state of the art computer security. Which brings us to what happens after you click to apply.
Your online auto loan application is screened and processed at our home office
in a renovated tobacco warehouse in Richmond, VA. After the processing
(mostly for fraud prevention and credit screening) it is forwarded to
a local loan officer in an auto dealership near you. We work with
dealerships because A) that's where banks and other lenders
feel most comfortable, and B) lenders that work through
dealers charge less than those who don't.
You'll be asked to make a personal appointment
as it's the best protection for your confidential
information. At this meeting, you'll learn the loan
terms and available vehicles, but really, the most
important thing is that you get treated better than
someone who just shows up on a parking lot
unannounced. (See our requirements next, please.)
